DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!
This apartment honestly is not even worth 1 star.
Why? Incompetent management, billing nightmares, and zero accountability.
After four years as a tenant, I can confidently say Maple Grove Apartments is not worth the rent. The property management here is completely incompetent, neglectful, and will waste hours of your life fixing mistakes they created.
The billing and management issues are constant and exhausting. Here is why i say that:
1. Double-billing and losing my parking spot: I had to... fight management for months because they were double-charging me for parking fees. I called every single day for a month just to get someone to fix their mistake. Their "solution"? Once they finally corrected the fee, they completely reassigned my spot to another resident while continuing to collect my monthly parking payment. I am currently paying for a spot I have zero access to because management gave it away.
2. Double-counted utilities: The parking fiasco isn't an isolated billing issue. Over the years, they have also repeatedly double-billed utilities on my ledger. You have to keep an eye on it every month - it’s like a game, you never know when and where their new mistakes appear.
3. Ghosting and false advertising: They advertise a $500 (initially $750) resident referral bonus throughout the hallways, yet they completely refuse to pay out when you actually refer someone. I spent a whole year arguing on this - they always say yea I will look into it. Truth is they never did. So honestly they still owe me this $500 after 2 and a half years.
4. Complete lack of professionalism: At one point of time, I tried to transfer and scheduled a tour for a 2-bedroom unit, got scheduled a tour and everything. On the day of, management stood me up, never replied to explain why they didn’t show, and later acted completely clueless when confronted in person, claiming they had no memory of the confirmed appointment.
5. Management ignores emails entirely. The only way to get anything acknowledged is by relentlessly calling them every day, and even when an issue is supposedly "resolved," they immediately invent a new headache.
6. For the longest time, there are roaches everywhere and rats in the apartment. Lots of interesting animals in here.
So conclusion - Do not move here, the exorbitant rent does not match the bottom-tier service and constant administrative. negligence.
