The Otis at Fort Ben Apartments

Was an awesome place to call home when we lived there. Fantastic amenities and floorplans. Lots of nice upgrades... too many to mention here. Great management and responsive maintenance staff. Pet-friendly (private dog park!). Clean brick buildings. Quiet neighbors (usually). Easy parking. With lots of new development in the area (new library, Civic Plaza, retail, restaurants, a state park -- all within walking distance), the Otis is a very nice addition to the fabric of Lawrence! The leasing agents and property manager are wonderful at what they do! However, the maintenance team could use some work... I put in several work orders several weeks ago and I am always told that somebody is coming to fix the problem, but they never show up. I see them driving around on golf carts all day and wonder "what are these people actually doing?"

We recently moved into the Otis and we absolutely love it! From the beautiful apartment to the incredible amenities the complex offers to the staff that ensures your home experience is top notch, you cannot find another place like this one! Kevin with maintenance is very helpful and on top of getting any minor fixes I've needed, completed.
