cost cutting at residents’ expense
It’s ironic that the Birdie Apartments leasing office stays around 73°F in the middle of July (or even colder) while the apartment building’s common areas are routinely kept above 80°F, which feels like a cost cutting measure at residents’ expense.
I’ve lived here for 2 years, and a new management company recently took over. Unfortunately, I haven’t been impressed with either the previous management or the current one.
If you’re relocating from out of state, I’d recommend looking at other... options before signing here. Rent has increased, yet the property still lacks amenities that many similarly priced complexes offer. Specifically, the complex is not secure; anyone from off the street can walk into the apartment buildings. Additionally, there’s no gym, no covered parking or garage, no package lockers for deliveries, and overall the value just isn’t there. There are several other apartment communities in town that offer better amenities for the same price or less.
