Harborview at the Navy Yard

Love the people I have met since living here. I wish the gym was not separate to the living community. Very nice location but public transit can be tricky later in evening.

I love the residents and the grounds are fantastic but the rent prices here are way above the average for what is included. There have been no renovations in 20 years and my cabinets are in terrible shape.

Our unit is very nice, but there are other buildings in and around the city that offer MUCH better amenities for the price. $400/month is outrageous for parking, when we are also paying for the gym. There could be much more offered here ammenities-wise.

This is a very quiet and lovely community. The grounds are kept meticulously. The residence are so nice and it is an incredibly pet friendly place to live. The only reason I didn’t give five stars is it’s overpriced for what you get. There are effectively no amenities. My view is incredible. But at my next renewal, I will need to ask myself if it’s worth it. The building is basically 20 years old.No updates. They have updated a few apartments if you are lucky enough to get one of those. If your... apartment has not been updated once you’re in the lease, it will not be updated. Initially these prices were based on amazing appliances and the fact that they’re actually supposed to be condominiums but 20-year-old condominiums without updates do not fall into the category of these prices. There is almost no overhead lighting. There are a few old style can lights in a couple of places that’s it. The bathroom exhaust does not work and random outlets do not work. Overall, I’ve had a positive experience living here. The concierge and management team are very nice, professional, and responsive when you have questions. They make you feel welcome and are always pleasant to interact with, which really adds to the community feel of the building.

The community room and roof deck are great amenities, but they could definitely be cleaned and maintained a bit better. With a little more attention, those spaces would feel even more inviting.

My main concern has... been with maintenance. While issues do eventually get addressed, communication isn’t always clear, and it can take anywhere from a week to over a month to have something fixed. Improving response time and follow-up would make a big difference.

Overall, it’s a good place to live with friendly staff and nice amenities — just a few areas that could use some improvement. Read More
