The Woodlands

We lived at the Woodlands for a year and couldn't wait to leave. The apartment was shoddy with bad electrical and fixtures breaking all the time. The buildings are loud and the front office is rude and intrusive. We were always afraid they were going to key in when we weren't home and let our pets out. On several occasions they posted notices that they would be entering apartments or requiring residents to come to the front office with no options to schedule these activities at alternate times,... forcing us to take time off from work. There aren't enough parking spaces and the front office was constantly sending out annoying, busy-body emails about cars parked in the wrong spaces. I recently moved to The Woodlands, and highly recommend same. The management professionalism and immediate response to any issue really surprised me. The apartment is clean, with all required amenities, and friendly neighbors. The centrally located complex is convenient to all major highways and transportation. This is a rare value in 2024!

It’s a place to live. Not very kid friendly, despite appearing so. Borderline HOA. Not worth it for the price, as the beauty is all a facade.

Rent is outrageously high and goes up every year. Lived here for 3 years. They charge you for every “amenity” now. No soundproofing between floors. Management is powerless to enforce the “No smoking” rule. We complained numerous times about our apartment filling with pot smoke from the bathroom vents because others would smoke in their bathroom and turn on the fan to vent it. Management sent notices to the building multiple times but it continued. We were never offered a solution or any... compensation and had to leave our bathroom fans on 24/7. After we received our renewal notice…and another rent increase with it, we moved. Visitor parking is a joke. Dumpster constantly broken and trash piled all around it. Shameful.
