Gateway Gardens

The pictures they show for these apartments are very different from what is seen in person. I have an old screen door on my balcony door, the ladder shelf in my kitchen is not straight, and there is also cracking in the foundation within my apartment. The flooring in these apartments is terrible; you can hear every move that people make walking above. There is a mice issue as well, and when you complain to the rental office, they act shocked, like this is the first they are hearing about this... complaint. Just do your research before moving here. We've only been here less than a month and already have to deal with a roach infestation. It sucks because the leasing office is very nice and helpful, and the apartment its self is a nice size for a family of four. But I've been so uncomfortable since we have been here since day one. We made the mistake of not seeing the actual unit we were moving into before signing the lease, and after getting the keys and entering the apartment the kitchen had a bunch of roach droppings. All in the corners,... each cabinet, on the the stove and two dead roaches in the fridge!!!!!!!! I immediately talked to the office and now we have to go through weekly treatments. And it's not working. All they are doing is running from the kitchen to the bathroom and our bedrooms. I still haven't unpacked anything because I'm that uncomfortable. I don't even want to buy furniture until this is resolved. It's very unfair that we were moved into a unit that was and still is infested with roaches. Read More

The whole building had a very bad sewer fly problem, there was no window screens, no screen to the vent in the BR and my toilet is broke I’ve only been here 2 months

If I could give zero stars I would! PARKING IS HORRIBLE!!!!! They just called themselves making parking better. Its not! If you have more than one car this is not the apartment complex for you. You would get one parking pass and would have to pay $180 every 90 days for a second spot even though the lots are now empty. You can only use the guest spot IF available 3 nights a MONTH. On top of the ridiculous parking...obviously no one told them about global warming and they still control the air... based off the schedule they used in 1950. So here we are with 80 degree days in top floor apartments burning up because the ac has been turned off! Im sure hell is cooler. Read More

These apartments are not worth the rent they are asking for example.
*They are out dated
*Rat issues
*Parking is terrible (new parking policy was to be put in place haven’t seen that yet)
*Flooring is terrible u hear the person above you walking across the floor
*Can’t have anyone to visit because there are no visitors parking.
*The water is always being shut off for repairs (don’t know what that’s about).
*Loud music is always being played rental office does nothing about it this. The... list can go on and on with issues with these apartments. Read More
