Anchorage Cottages is conveniently located along US-23, offering easy access to Oscoda, Harrisville, Tawas, and East Tawas. Nearby activities include Lake Huron beaches, boating and fishing, ATV and hiking trails, local restaurants and shops, golf courses, Au Sable River adventures, and seasonal festivals and events. While the cottage does not offer direct lake views, the shoreline is only a short walk from your door.
Please be aware that there may be some road noise as the property sits along US-23. The beach has rock barriers near the shoreline to prevent erosion, and young children may need assistance accessing the water. There is limited beach space, but the view across Lake Huron is beautiful in every season. Check-out is at 10 am, and late check-out is not available. Please wash dishes and put them away, throw all trash in garbage bins, and leave beds unmade. Leave the cottage as you found it. NO smoking or vaping is allowed in the cottage; 420 is allowed outside the cottage only. Please be courteous of other guests and throw butts/accessories in the trash. The front hallway of the big house has books, DVDs, and games to borrow, and the landline is also available to guests. The door to this area is locked unless requested. Throw butts and trash in garbage, not in firepits. Your hosts live in the big house and are available via text if you need anything.
