Byron Lakes Apartments

My roommate and I have both had a very positive experience. As with any apartment there are minor issues to address, however overall I have had a really positive experience. The on-site staff are very helpful, the headquarters are a bit of a pain in the rear end however.

4 year resident. The apartments themselves are great, but the 3rd party contractors Byron Lakes employes single-handedly make living here not worth it. The loud noise they create is insane, goes on for hours multiple days straight EVERY week, and affects both the inside and outside of the building. No exaggeration, it quite literally is every week now. Worst part is it's only been like this for maybe a year, this problem didn't used to exist. I've been living here for over a year now. Very poor resident services, crappy appliances and disregard for work at home folks. They messed up our apartment transfer and then gave it away before speaking with us last year, and now we're stuck in this place. It's not entirely their fault we're stuck, but they broke their word with us saying we should have gotten it in writing. They will not do repairs. My apartment had a leak that that they knew about before renting to me and never fixed after I filed multiple reports. Another leak showed up, it took 2 months to stop it, and they never fixed any of the water damage. Terrible management.

I have waited and lived here for three years before making this review. The apartment is nice, fair priced, and I love the central air and washer and dryer amenities. The pond view is also pretty cool. But the maintenance and management completely ruined the experience for me. No matter the season, you can get used to waking up to leaf blowers at 5 AM. I deal with almost monthly temporary utility shutoffs, including the water that goes from being cloudy white to clear. Constant building... maintenance because they decide to use cheap wood that rots and needs replacing. Concrete repair, the list goes on. While I can appreciate the beautiful landscaping and maintained property... it is not worth the constant disruptions, and management dosent seem to care when I brought it to their attention.

Bottom line. I DO NOT RECOMMEND LIVING HERE. Read More
