Overlooking Peck Park, the neighborhood has all the advantages of city living while being tucked away in a quiet part of town. Wayne State University, College for Creative Studies, Detroit Main Public Library, the Detroit Institute of Arts, the Detroit Science Center, and the Detroit Medical Center are all within walking distance, while downtown is just minutes away. The nearest bus stop is located just a few blocks away, and there are several routes that run through the area. The neighborhood is relatively walkable and bike-friendly, and there are bike lanes on some of the major streets. It is 6 minutes from Downtown Detroit, 2 minutes from the DMC and University, 2 minutes from Wayne State, 4 minutes from the Ford Field, and 1 mile from the Cultural Center.
Check-out time is 11 am. Guests must agree to the house rules before/during their stay as there are other tenants at the property. All guests are screened using a third-party partner. You will be asked to provide a copy of your official government-issued photo ID, confirm your contact information, provide a valid credit card with a name that matches your ID, pass through our verification portal, and pay a security deposit. In some instances, a criminal background check may be required. Mail and package delivery to the building/apartment is discouraged; it is recommended to use a nearby pickup/drop-off location. There is a $100 penalty fee for removing smoke detectors. No weapons, firearms, drugs, or illegal sexual activity of any sort are allowed. Violators will be reported to the police and the contract will be terminated immediately. Guests staying longer than 28 days will be responsible for paying utilities used during their stay. There is a zero-tolerance policy for parties and smoking anywhere on the premises. All units come equipped with noise sensors. Following multiple warnings, local law enforcement may be utilized to ensure compliance. Should removal be required, it will be done at the guest's expense. Unapproved late checkout will result in a $50 charge for every hour after the scheduled checkout time. Smoking inside or outside on the patio/balcony, parking lot, or within 50ft of the property is strictly prohibited, as this is a smoke-free community. Any smell noticed by cleaners in the house, and/or any physical evidence of smoking any substance in the home will result in a fine of $300.00 to cover the cost of deep cleaning and ozone treatment. Parties and events are strictly prohibited. Any evidence of a party or event, including camera footage, excessive garbage, or other evidence will result in a fine of $500.00, legal action, and possible eviction without reimbursement, plus the cost of any extra cleaning or damages that result from the event. Noise detection monitors are present. Local guests MUST let us know at the time of booking if additional visitors will arrive during the stay or the reservation will be canceled. No exceptions, no refunds. Any evidence of willful or negligent loss or damage to the property, furnishings, decoration, landscaping, towels, linens, FOB keys, or other items will be charged at direct replacement cost plus a fine of up to $250.00. Unauthorized animal/pet fee: $250.00. Guests are required to keep towels and linens in good condition. Towels and washcloths should not be used to remove makeup or for cleaning purposes. Any permanent stains on towels or linens will fall into the category of negligent damage and are not included in the damage protection policy. Guests should NOT wash comforters or duvet comforters themselves as this can cause damage to those items and the washing machine. Any evidence of a guest breaking posted house rules, including exceeding the occupancy listed by the guest on the reservation, parking restrictions, pool rules, illegal substances, or use of the property can result in a fine of up to $1000.00 and/or eviction from the property.
