Country Club Place Apartments

PLEASE READ BEFORE MOVING TO COUNTRY CLUB PLACE APARTMENTS

I normally don’t write reviews like this but people really need to know what they’re getting into before moving here.

One of my biggest issues has been the roaches. What’s crazy is I didn’t really start noticing them until after the apartment next door to me was fogged.

At the time there was a really strong chemical smell coming from that apartment/building. I asked about the smell and was basically led to believe it was because a tub... was being refinished. Later I found out the apartment next door had actually been fogged for bugs.

I started seeing roaches in my apartment.

That’s what really bothers me. If I would’ve known they were fogging the apartment next door for roaches, I would’ve at least known there was a pest issue that close to my unit and could’ve prepared for it. Instead I’m thinking I’m smelling chemicals from somebody getting their bathtub done.

Since then I’ve had to deal with roaches and make multiple complaints about the issue. Treatments have been done but the problem has continued.

And that’s not the only problem I’ve had here. I’ve dealt with A/C issues, leaks, trash problems, maintenance requests being closed without the actual problem being fixed, and constantly having to follow up with the office.

The office staff can also be very rude and passive when you’re trying to get something handled. My personal experience with Melody in the office has been terrible. She can seem nice when everything is good, but when there’s an actual issue that needs to be taken care of, my experience has been completely different. I’ve found the communication dismissive and honestly just fake.

I’m not expecting anybody in the leasing office to be my friend. I pay rent here. I just expect problems with the apartment to actually be handled without having to keep calling, emailing and going back and forth.

If you’re thinking about moving here, PLEASE check the apartment yourself. Open the cabinets. Look underneath the sinks. Check behind and around the appliances and look along the baseboards. And I would definitely ask them directly about the history of roaches and pest treatments in the building you’re moving into.

Don’t just go by how the apartment looks during the tour because that’s only one day. What matters is what happens after you sign that lease and something goes wrong.

Management here is horrible, especially when it comes to maintenance requests. It has been 4 months now since I made a request to have the bathtub resurfaced. Twice now they have "completed" the maintenance ticket and here we are still with a peeling bathtub that we cannot use for baths until the resurfacing happens.

This place is poorly managed. They will wine and dine you and after you sign on the dotted line that is over. Mold, maintenance issues and the office won't return phone calls. Toilet doesn't work and the leak behind the tub is my fault. When they fix a leak they won't let it air out, they cover it right away. The parking lot is a raceway. AC hasn't worked right for a year. You've been warned.

Outdated, overpriced, and god awful management. I moved into a smoky apartment and an unflushed toilet. All the appliances/walls/windows are damaged, dirty, or inefficient. Maintenance is hit or miss, you have to beg the emergency line worker to come prevent your apartment from flooding.

If your car has plates that need to... be renewed this apartment complex WILL TOW YOU no matter what. They will lie to you about the reasoning for it and refuse to let you speak to management! do NOT ignore these reviews, look elsewhere!! Read More

Absolutely terrible place to live. I moved in about a month and a half ago. Upon move-in, they did not issue me a mailbox key, the dryer will not run, and the A/C leaks all over the floor. I have been living here a month and a half, and (even though I have asked several times), they have not given me a key for my mail yet. I need to go to the office on the weekends and turn in my ID just to access my mail. They have tried to fix the A/C twice now and it still leaks. They have not addressed the... non-functional dryer that I am paying for. Since move-in, the water level in the toilet has dropped severely. I have replaced parts on the toilet myself (maintenance hasn't addressed it), and it still doesn't work. Terrible management. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! Read More
