I want to be honest that I actually like living here and would like to continue living here for now. However, the ongoing issues with the trash service and these fees are making me seriously reconsider whether I want to stay. I should not have to worry about being charged another $50 simply because I have two bags of trash after the weekend.

Cortland is a wonderful place to stay. The staff and community are friendly and things are kept family-oriented. Cortland has always been a first choice for me because of the sense of “home” and the cleanliness of the property. A great place to live!

living experience is great……but

My living experience with Cortland has been amazing. The neighbors are friendly, and the staff has always been great. My only concern is the pool in Phase Two.

Unfortunately, there are often people using the pool who do not live in the community, and I don’t mean guests accompanied by a resident. There are also children who come over from across the street without any parental supervision. It takes away from the experience for residents and raises safety concerns. I hope this issue can be... addressed so the amenities remain enjoyable for those who live here.

Property is decent, units are nicely laid out, almost no sound proofing in the units, i can hear a dog 2 floors down barking like hes sitting next to me and the office staff may be the worst in charlotte outside of jamal. He is very nice but his hands are tied with what he is able to help with
