How Is This Rating Determined?

Smell of trash in the morning

Current resident at Heather Park. Only one dumpster with compactor for the whole complex. Compactor doesn't have the capacity so it gets full quickly. Residents then throw their garbage bags on the sidewalk where animals and the weather can wreck havoc on them. Do they expect residents to know how to operate the commercial compactor? I wish this site would let me upload photos. Maybe then management would work to address the trash issue instead of working to take down poor reviews. I hate... walking my kid past the smell of rotting garbage on the way to daycare or the park.

I just recently moved in. The property is in a great location, and a pretty quiet area. It’s in close proximity to schools, restaurants and shopping. The property looks like it has been kept up well. I like that there’s a workout facility and bikes on-site. They have an awards program for residents. So far, it’s been a good experience!

The area is a great to live. Convenient to the local schools, stores and the bus stop is close to the complex.
Staff is friendly and professional. If I have a maintenance issue; it is fixed at a timely matter. Noise level is what is expected at an apartment complex. Overall, I’m happy living at Heather Park Apartment Homes.
