The team at the Ashton from the office staff to the maintenance has truly been amazing to work with. Everyone seems to have an eagerness to help. Ariel in the office is very kind and works hard to resolve any issues.

Don't Do It!!
The management and owners of this property are money hungry and beyond greedy! Very poor service. I have contacted the corporate office several times and someone only called back once. My husband and I have experienced so many issues with this property. The latest, they have added internet as an additional $70 fee, but did not provide proper instructions on how to change from our personal internet to their account. I was on top of this from the beginning and almost two months later... , I have continued to receive incorrect information from the office. I received a bill for my personal internet plan even after paying internet with our November rent. So The Ashton's (Knightvest)is charging us a fee for internet, but we are not receiving the service. They are REFUSING to refund us and remove the monthly internet fee. I have called Spectrum six times and they have been consistent in saying my account is not showing under the Bulk account for the Ashtons. I even went to the office at the apartment complex and was there for over an hour as the manager spoke to Spectrum and he told her in so many words, the paperwork was not submitted properly. My unit and others was not added. This has been a nightmare. And they still REFUSE a refund. I have documentation to prove how terrible this process has been. We plan to pursue this legally if they keep charging us a monthly internet fee and our unit is not of their bulk account. Save yourself a lot of stress! DO NOT rent with this company!!

I’ve lived here for over a year. The building I’m in seems fine, except there are more bugs getting inside during the summer. Location is fine, there’s some noise from Glenwood when people illegally race at 2 AM. I’ve only needed to request maintenance a handful of times, but each time was taken care of pretty quickly.
This review gets one star because the management is truly awful. Everything that can possibly be a separate non-negotiable fee is a fee, as if Mr. Krabs or Spirit Airlines was... the landlord. There’s a 25/mo “technology fee.” The valet trash service is 30/mo, and the apartment has sent out emails that if a trash can is left outside for too long after/before pickup, there will be another fee tacked on.
Water and sewer are also separate fees, and gas and electric are provided by different companies. You will be paying more for electric than you probably think, especially during the summer, because most of the A/C units are old and inefficient. Your choices for internet here are DSL from AT&T, which struggled to maintain the advertised speeds in my unit, or cable internet from Spectrum, which is famously a terrible company.
Don’t move here if you can avoid it.

This place is COMPLETE TRASH DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!
Beware!!!! Everything that looks good isn’t good for you!
This apartment has no maintenance. My move in was great with rental agent Cindy . After Cindy gave me the wrong keys and paying for a locksmith . That night being locked out I discovered they had no EM (emergency maintenance). They claim they did not have anyone on the property for after hours. After getting into my apartment waiting outside for more than three hours, I was then able to... after the locksmith.
They tried to overturn the payment and say they were unable to refund me, as this was their fault. After speaking with someone in the rental office regarding this they said they would have to reach out to corporate in order for me to receive the money back.
Nothing in my apartment has been taken care of since moving here. The 22nd of this month will be 30 days of me living here and nothing has been fixed or taking into for a concern.
This apartment has roaches. Not to mention they crawl up the wall while you are cooking! The water bugs are constantly coming in through any crack and I have mentioned this to the rental office and they still are ignoring me. The pesticide man only sprays in like two places. Not to mention there is all new staff in the rental office so no one knows what is going on. I am moving from here as soon as I can
