Wouldn’t Choose to Live Here Again
We originally planned on staying at Summit Falls and transferring into a bigger apartment, but after everything that happened we decided to leave instead.
Communication was by far the biggest problem. Before renewing my lease, I specifically asked if I could still transfer later because that was the deciding factor in whether we stayed or moved somewhere else. After I renewed, I found out there were transfer requirements that hadn’t been explained to me. It took a lot of back and forth, going... to upper management, and filing complaints before anything was resolved. They did eventually waive my buyout fee, which I appreciate, but it was way more stressful than it needed to be.
Maintenance was another issue. Our washer was broken for almost two months before it was fixed, and getting updates was difficult. I also have a dog, so I needed good communication before maintenance came into the apartment, but that wasn’t always the case.
The AI assistant was frustrating too. It would tell me my packages had been sitting in the mailroom for weeks when they had only been there a couple of days. After a while I just stopped trusting the messages.
The hallways were honestly disappointing. They often smelled like pet urine, had visible urine spots on the carpet, and didn’t feel very clean. For what they charge in rent, I expected the property to be kept up much better.
In the end, we found another community for about the same price with nicer apartments, better amenities, and a much better overall feel. I’m glad management eventually worked with me on the lease, but I wouldn’t choose to live here again.

Athena, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're sorry to hear Summit Falls was not the right fit for you. While we did discuss the possibility of transferring to a larger apartment, transfers are subject to several requirements... and cannot be guaranteed. Unfortunately, the qualifications for a transfer were not met, so we were unable to approve the request. We also understand your frustration regarding the delay in your washer repair and the communication surrounding maintenance visits. We appreciate your feedback regarding our package notifications and common areas, as it helps us continue improving our community. We're glad we were able to work with you to reach a resolution regarding your lease, and we wish you all the best in your new home.
