Issue with Cars in No Parking Zones and Trash Room We are enjoying our new apartment, but there are two ongoing issues that have affected our experience since moving in.

Parking in the No Parking Zone

We have noticed that vehicles frequently park for extended periods, and sometimes overnight for multiple days, in the no parking zone directly in front of the entrance to Building 4, Floor 3. This is a recurring issue since we moved in. At times there is one vehicle, and at other times there are... two, making it difficult to access the building and creating an inconvenience for residents entering and exiting.

From what we have observed, this issue appears to be isolated to our entrance, as the other Building 4 entrances on different floors are generally clear of vehicles. One of the vehicles, a black Honda CR-V, appears to have an assigned parking space feet away from building 4 entrance and is regularly allowing a red Honda without a permit tag to park in that reserved space.

I would appreciate it if you could reach out to the vehicle owners involved and remind them to use their assigned parking spaces or visitor parking, if applicable. Alternatively, installing yellow delineator posts in this area would help prevent vehicles from parking there altogether.

Trash Room Conditions

I also wanted to raise concerns about the condition of the trash room on floor 3. Unfortunately, despite the recently posted rules, some residents continue to leave trash bags and other items on the floor rather than disposing of them properly.

While I appreciate the efforts of the maintenance team to keep the area clean during the week, the condition of the room often deteriorates over the weekend. At times, it becomes difficult to access the trash chute without stepping around bags and debris, and the odor from garbage left on the floor can be quite unpleasant and it emanates from the room into the waiting area for the elevator.

Given that residents pay an additional fee related to waste services, I would encourage management to explore ways to hold repeat offenders accountable. For example, implementing fob access to the trash room and utilizing existing security cameras may help identify those responsible and reinforce compliance with community rules. If residents know that financial consequences will be implemented for improper disposal, it may encourage better adherence to the guidelines.
