Maintenance
I would give this apartment complex 1 star based on my move-in experience alone. The instructions for contacting maintenance have been extremely confusing, and I moved into an apartment with a shower faucet that sprays water all over the floor, making the shower basically unusable. This is something that should have been inspected and fixed before I was given the keys.
On top of that, the shower curtain rod easily broke after I simply placed a towel on it, which makes me question the condition... and quality of the apartment before move-in. These are issues that should have been caught during an inspection.
Instead, I was told I have to submit a work order and continue waiting for maintenance to address problems that were already there before I moved in. I’m now going on my third day without being able to properly shower in an apartment I am already paying to live in. This is extremely frustrating and unacceptable for a new tenant, and it raises serious concerns about how thoroughly units are inspected before move-in and how quickly maintenance issues are handled.
