Imperial Gardens Apartment Homes

At their Imperial Park location, it's been a decent experience compared to other nearby complexes because it's quiet, looks nice, and comes with some decent amenities. However, THEY NEED MORE PARKING SPACE!!! The management team is constantly messaging us about where NOT to park, but 75% of the time, I come home frustrated because there is no parking near my building. I am often forced to drive to another lot to park, then haul all my stuff across the complex (oh, but apparently they don't care... that the only available parking spaces are far away, because you're still not allowed to park near your building for 10 minutes to haul groceries in). You want people to stop parking in certain areas? Then create more spaces! Your residents are angry, and it's even WORSE in the winter, when they require us to move our cars for a plow that comes WAY too late, after the snow has already turned to ice and is blocking the very limited number of parking spots available. And those "decent amenities" they provide? Yeah, I have to pay for that, but it's sometimes a waste because I'm often paying for things that don't work or that give more headaches than anything else (e.g., issues with the washer/dryer, odd pool hours, taking too long to fix the locks on the front doors, etc.). Also, I know this is up to everyone's own discretion, but it's frustrating that I can't even relax and unwind with smoking because they changed their smoking policy a few years after I moved in, and ALL OF A SUDDEN we can't smoke anything on the property at all. I didn't know I was signing my entire life away just to have somewhere to live. Whatever you do I beg you do not move in here you will save yourself a ton of headaches this place is not worth the money I wished it would be revamped under New Management this place is horrible to live

Maintenance team are nice people! However, work never gets fully completed. I had an issue when i moved in and almost 7 years later it never got fixed. Most work orders take a week or more to get finished, but God forbid you’re late with rent by one day!

Walls and ceilings are thin so you can hear everything your neighbor is doing, literally EVERYTHING!

Easily the worst place I have ever lived. My building has loud music and parties all the time. Sometimes it goes on well into the night. Terrible place for someone with a job. When I called the leasing office, it seemed like they were going to resolve the issue. It actually became worse. The leasing office does not even respond to my messages anymore. My smoke alarms are expired. I put in a work order, someone came and pressed the test button. He said “it should be fine”. The dryer vents do not... get cleaned routinely. The dog waste stations are frequently over flowing.

Not horrible but could be nicer grounds. Nicer plantings around the complex instead of just by the office. Get people to pick up after their dogs. I always pick up…not hard to do.
