Southgate Middletown

The management at Southgate are really great to work with and get ahold of. Armend is fantastic, he fixes/helps with any requests you have within days, if not the day of you requesting something fixed if needed. The location is safe and kept clean. I enjoy that they do a community bbq in the summer and a clothing drive for those in need. I’ve lived here for 2 years and I am very pleased with my experiences.

The place is ok. The apartments are pretty spacious and clean. It is not the luxury lifestyle it boasts. No events at the clubhouse or anything social. Neighbors are unfriendly. Kitchen sink Drain never worked, washer and dryer require multiple rounds to get clothes clean or dry. Extremely inefficient for gas and electric. Unfriendly, uncaring, and hard to reach office staff. Random things constantly fall off like the towel racks or the door knobs. Packages and deliveries are constantly lost or... stolen and staff does not help you with retrieval. Very thin walls. No guest parking. Very small fitness center with broken machines. Armend, the gentlemen in charge of maintenance, has been so helpful throughout my stay at Southgate Apartments. He is very friendly and would always answer my calls and texts and take care of all issues, right away. When I moved out of my apartment, I had to leave for Florida right away and Armend was able to keep me in the loop with the moving out process and made everything go smoothly.

I just want to say that Armend is a very efficient and knowledgeable maintenance person and he should be commended for that. Also, Cindy and Brian rock big time! I'm loving my new place. Thanks for making it a smooth transition from one apartment to another.

This property is very elegant and well designed. The staff, especially the super Armed and leasing rep Brian are amazing. Maintainence requests are handled quickly and professionally. Can't go wrong with this gem or the up and coming Middletown area. Others mentioned the walls being thin, I can say I hear nothing from other apartments.
