Used to be luxury, now it's just expensive
I’ve lived at 933 The U since the day the building opened, over 8 years ago. What used to be a true luxury building has devolved into a minimal-service operation with premium price tags, rent hikes, and escalating fees.
Aside from Dustin, the super—who is fantastic—management treats long-term residents as an afterthought. Their communication is abysmal; it took two weeks and three follow-up emails from me just to get a basic response to my latest request, with zero follow-up since. Service is... what defines luxury living, and management has completely abandoned it in favor of profits. Save your money—these prices are no longer justified.

Thank you for sharing your feedback and for calling out Dustin’s commitment to our residents. We’re glad to hear that his service has made a positive impression during your time at 933 The U.
We’re disappointed to hear that your recent experience... with communication and follow up did not meet the level of service we strive to provide, particularly given your long history as a resident. We take concerns regarding responsiveness seriously and will use your feedback to identify where we can improve.
We truly appreciate your eight years at 933 The U and the perspective you’ve shared as a long term resident. Thank you for taking the time to provide this feedback.
