The employees at cyan are great! I really appreciate them. They do the best with what Greystar gives them to work with. The building is slowly falling apart though, despite only being 17 years old

It’s okay. A lot could be way better but it is what it is and is decent. They make some changes but overall it’s fine. The Amazon lockers are really nice and putting the 2nd set was an awesome decision they made and did!

Cyan is a beautiful building and located in a super convenient place. The price for living here isn't too bad, either. However there have been so many issues with facilities in the building (AC, water, mail delivery), so many maintenance check ins for no reason, and also communication between management. I really want to love Cyan, but there are definitely some issues.

I moved to Portland in 2019 and after researching over 350 communities, I moved in on February 7th, 2021. That has turned out to be perhaps the best decision in my 64.5 years on the planet!

There's much to love at Cyan/PDX: solid concrete construction that means a quiet home, large and beautiful windows that allow airflow, wood floors and cabinets, great energy efficiency, fiber optic internet built in and other internet service options, a beautiful patio and park as a back yard, plenty of...
convenient parking, the Portland Streetcar, TriMet buses, and Max stops nearby, the entertainment venues, the University community in the adjacent blocks, many restaurants, shops, cafés, points of interest, places to sit and read or meditate, wonderful views, and bike lanes.

The community has seasonal events throughout the year and it has been a pleasure to get to know the diverse and friendly residents and staff.

You may not need to research 350 communities to discover this excellent value.

Cyan/PDX continues to be the finest place I have ever resided. I have now passed another birthday here and this is a good time to take stock of the growth I have made as a person while being resident here.

The management and staff have been successful in fostering safety and connection in the community.

One of the ways that has happened was with the Pride event of games and barbecue on July 11th.

We had wonderful food, music, games and I met remarkable people. I got reminded of the goodwill...
and kindness of the staff. I felt like our community is a microcosm of a peaceful and loving society of people celebrating our vast diversity and embracing giving and receiving love.

What a world it would be if it were more like what we have going at Cyan/PDX. I feel gratitude every day that I made the decision in late 2020—after reviewing over 350 communities to be here.

My intention is to stay here for the duration. This has truly become home and these people family.
