Canalside Lofts

An overall quiet community of young professionals and students with only one or two blatantly noisy sports car exhaust notes per day. Other than the trash left outside some residents apartments, an overall pleasant atmosphere.

I do have a wonderful living experience in the canalside lofts apartment here! Hope everyone can come and live here, but I think if it could have one-month free for move in during august/september.

I’m really enjoying my Canalside Loft! It’s spacious and quiet and comfortable…I love being here and couldn’t imagine living anywhere else!!!

Overall, complex is fine. However, there are a few areas that drastically need improvement. They do not replace lighting when they go out, so there are a number of dark stairwells and car ports. This is very dangerous at night.

They do not control the wasp/bee nest on the upper level of their apartments. During the warm months wasp create large nest and very active on top floors. No one addresses the issue even when it’s the winter months when the nest are empty.

The garbage area is not... maintained. There are times the trash area is overflowing, there are times unhoused people are staying behind dumpsters or looking in trash at night.

The bathrooms at the pool area is not locked, so there are nights I have seen people sleeping there.

The equipment in the Canalside gym is not maintained. The treadmills stop working for weeks and residence of Canalside are not allowed to use the other gym on property. management should maintain amenities their residents are still paying for. Read More

The apartment is nice and in a good area of town, but maintenance doesn’t respond. Also, they false advertise on the Instagram by posting pictures of the nice gym when you have to live at Sola Station to use it, not Canalside. However, the apartments and the area is very dog friendly, so that’s nice.
