The kitchen is a cook's delight, equipped with a gas stove, double oven, blender, and beverage fridge. A tidy desk is available for work or writing. Enjoy the deck with seating and wide sea views, and a shaded patio below for quiet hours. Outdoors, rinse off in the shower and gather around the large firepit.
Events are allowed at this house with a non-refundable deposit. A security deposit hold of $300 is required and will be released after check-out if there is no damage. Guests are responsible for locksmith/re-key costs if a key is lost or the code is forgotten, unless the issue is due to a lock/smart-lock failure or the host's error. Guests must rinse sand off in the sand shower or water hoses after going to the beach and leave sandy shoes on the deck. Parking is only on the concrete driveway, and guests must be careful not to hit the pilings.
Located right on the sand, this shore house offers the company of the tide and the ability to hear and touch it. Crystal Beach is known for its mosquitos, so bringing bug spray is recommended.
Maximum occupancy is 10 people. Grilling is only allowed on the patio area downstairs, not on the deck, due to Galveston County ordinance. Do not flush feminine hygiene products or anything other than expected down the toilet to avoid damaging the septic system. Do not pour grease down the drains. If something is accidentally broken, notify the host immediately. Guests are responsible for replacement or repairs if damage occurs due to malicious or careless behavior. Please lock doors and windows upon departure. Guests asked to leave due to irresponsible behavior will not receive a refund. If a renter must cancel due to tropical storm/hurricane evacuation requirements, a full refund will be given. If evacuation is necessary during the stay, guests will be credited for lost days. The host is not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or illnesses that occur on the premises, nor for loss or damage of personal property. By accepting the reservation, all renters expressly assume the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises. The beaches at Crystal Beach have no lifeguards on duty, and swimming is at visitor's own risk. There is a separate RV rental space located in the backyard of the property; on occasion, an RV guest may rent this space and access the backyard, with little to no interaction expected.
