This expansive property is designed for large groups, ensuring everyone can feel at home during their Hill Country retreat.
The Big Tex is comprised of three semi-attached buildings: the Main House, Casita (guest quarters), and Game Room, along with an attached Outdoor Kitchen and a 1500 sq ft covered patio. Each bedroom features its own private attached full bathroom. The Main House includes a spacious living room, dining area, and a massive kitchen island with seating. The Casita offers multiple bedrooms with queen beds and bunk beds. The Game Room is equipped with a golf simulator, arcade games, and a poker table. The Outdoor Kitchen features a margarita machine, fridge, sink, and microwave.
Enjoy endless fun with a heated pool (fee for usage), hot tub, outdoor movie theatre, pickleball court, basketball court, sand volleyball court, fire pit, BBQ grill, and playscape. The property provides paddles and balls for pickleball, and basketballs for the basketball court. Guests must bring their own charcoal for the BBQ grill and firewood for the fire pit. The heated pool requires a fee of $150 per day of the entire reservation and must be requested at least 72 hours prior to arrival. Pets are allowed without a fee but must remain outside of interior spaces and be leashed at all times. Guests must be 25+ years old to book a reservation. A fee of $50 per person over 16 guests will be applied after the confirmed booking. Parking is limited to a maximum of 8 cars in the driveway; no overflow parking is permitted.

Concan is a beloved vacation destination, serving as the gateway to the Frio River and Garner State Park, known for its tubing, swimming, hiking, and scenic overlooks. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy tubing, kayaking, horseback riding, birdwatching, fishing, and hunting. The area also boasts live music, family-friendly restaurants, wineries, ice cream shops, and seasonal festivals.
Smoking inside the property will result in a $1000 fine. Outdoor smoking is permitted, but cigarette butts must be disposed of in designated ashtrays or smoking poles; failure to do so will incur a minimum $500 fee. Noise curfew is from 10 PM to 7 AM on weekdays and 10 PM to 8 AM on weekends. Penalties for noise violations include a complimentary warning for the first offense, a $250 fine for the second, and immediate eviction with no refund for the third. Guests must load and start the dishwasher with all dirty dishes and cookware, dump food waste in the garbage, and place all trash in the trash box on the side of the house. Pool towels must be washed prior to departure. Failure to perform these tasks or clean the BBQ grill before check-out will result in an additional cleaning fee. Guests swim in the pool and spa at their own risk. Unregistered guests are not permitted at the property.
