Avoid this property

The management have little concern for you after you move in and I have experienced this consistently since I moved in 13 months ago. I plan on moving out at the end of the lease, but they promise everyone a parking spot, until they are full and they tow your registered car because you are unwilling to pay additional for parking. I asked for help, but they just tried to sell me a higher cost parking spot. This does not feel like a community.

To clarify, our community offers first-come, first-served... parking, with optional reserved spaces available for an additional monthly fee. Reserved spaces are assigned and must remain available for the resident who leases them, which is why unauthorized vehicles may be towed in accordance with community guidelines and posted signage.

Excellent so far

We just moved in and have had a great experience so far. The management has all these processes working like a well oiled machine...smooth. The staff are nice too. Couldn't ask for anything more really.

We're very happy here

We have only been here for a few weeks now but everything has been a very nice change. Getting everything signed was a little stressful due to our work schedules being very limited in relation to the complex operating hours. But otherwise we really don't have any complaints. I know other reviews are complaining about price and other issues but we have lived in 4 different apartment complexes in Denton tx in the span of 6 years and Hickory Creek so far is the best apartment we've ever had. Prices... are ridiculously high everywhere but at least we are getting what we are paying for at hickory. Our last apartment is almost 100 square ft. Less than this one and the price to live here for us is only at most $100 more. Not to mention our last apartment was actually falling apart around us. We have many complaints about where we're coming from and hickory Creek gets rid of all of them. Also yes parking isn't the most amazing ever, but you have to give something and I'd rather have to walk just a little and we haven't ever needed to park outside of the complex. Most of the complaints I see are just issues of general apartment living to begin with. We'll see as time goes by but at this point we don't have any complaints and are feeling very happy and relieved living here
