Would NOT recommend based on our overall experience.
Biggest issue – getting our deposit back. It has been 150 days and we are still fighting to get it returned, even though the law requires it within 30 days. Be warned.
Initially we were excited to move in. During our tour the units looked nice and updated. We asked about a 2 bed / 2 bath, but were first shown a 3 bed / 2 bath and told to imagine it without the extra room and with a smaller living area. After asking again we finally saw the... 2/2, which also looked nice.
Unfortunately, things changed on move-in day.
When we opened the unit the flooring was already coming up. Maintenance told us the laminate was installed cheaply over old flooring and that the adhesive fails often.
There was also a large hole in the kitchen storage area that required a repair request. The first attempt was basically a patch, and only after seeing it in person did they agree it needed drywall work.
Throughout the year we had multiple AC issues and ongoing problems with the dryer, which took 3–4 cycles to dry clothes. We submitted many maintenance requests but it was never properly fixed. We were even told the issue was our fault at times, despite never touching the equipment.
Other complex issues included:
• Massive ant problems in the unit
• Trash left in hallways for days, attracting pests
• Dirty or closed pool areas and loud parties late at night
• Dog waste all over the grounds
• Unsafe speeding in the parking lot
Overall, it felt like management was very helpful when getting you to sign the lease, but once you are locked in you are mostly on your own.
Very disappointing experience. Rent here at your own risk.
