Poor quality construction, insects, and more!
Montrose Berkley Lake is nothing more than a series of frustrations advertised as "Luxury Apartments". From the outside, the windows and doors have gaps in their framing that let water in during heavy rains and pressure washing days. I will always find a puddle on my floor afterwards. On the inside it's even worse: some of the baseboards are warped, the toe kicks of every floor cabinet does not sit flush with the wall, and the A/C closet is caked in years of dust. Much to my surprise, the... bathroom sink cabinet has a 6 in square hole cut out in its toe kick. Every summer like clockwork, roaches will find their way into your home. You will go to bed anxious wondering if you will wake up to another one running up your wall. Property Management's "solution" to this problem and every other problem is sending out a couple of "contractors" who barely speak English. These "contractors" are clearly not certified tradesman as evidenced by their poor quality work: a drawer face that has fallen off will be screwed back on with the screws facing outward, broken appliances will be replaced with older models that have residue inside. Titan Corp's management of Montrose Berkley Lake is yet another example of the decline of American craftmanship. Pride in providing quality housing have been replaced by quick construction built by the cheapest bidder for the sake of "creating value" for shareholders.
