After graduating from college in Atlanta, GA in 1984 with an Engineering Technology degree, she returned home to NC and became a strong team member in her family’s manufacturing business. When NAFTA passed in the 1990s, they made the choice to run with the big dogs and move to Texas to operate their business in Mexico with 500 employees. They missed the south and returned to Georgia in 2002. Family is important so even her parents and brother moved to Georgia as well. Her brother is a contractor, and they work great as a team. Rhonda’s husband, with 34 years experience teaching band, is a band director at Gainesville Middle School and Gainesville High School. They have three grown children that also love the area. Her oldest owns a house in the country and an intown cottage, the son owns an amazing townhouse, and the youngest son at only 20 just bought his first home. It’s in their blood to own real estate in this great country. Rhonda Forbes entered the Real Estate world in order to be her own boss, be in the middle of an ever changing lifestyle that fits her family, build relationships with people, and to help others accomplish homeownership and wealth building and has never looked back.
