Personal Journey: Born in Bogotá, Colombia as Cielo Cepeda, Sara was adopted from the FANA Orphanage in 1977 and brought to the United States at three months old. She was raised in Long Island, Brooklyn, and Queens, and now lives in Yonkers, NY. At the age of 36, Sara embarked on a journey to find her biological mother. Through internet searches and with the help of a colleague, she located her on Facebook, discovering that her existence was unknown to her biological family. This emotional reunion in Colombia not only changed Sara’s life but also inspired her to help others achieve their personal and professional goals. This journey led to the creation of the 'Through the Eyes of a Rainbow Child Foundation,' a future project she aims to develop.
