Poor communication
The community management’s handling of apartment-entry notices is extremely inconsiderate and unprofessional. On multiple occasions, residents have been given as little as **20 minutes’ notice** before maintenance or pest control is expected to enter the apartment, which is NON-URGENT.
Notices for entry should be provided by **email and with at least one week’s advance notice**, not by placing a flyer on a resident’s door at 9:00 AM when most residents are already at work. This is especially... unacceptable when pest control is scheduled to spray chemicals inside the apartment. Residents need reasonable time to properly store food, put away personal belongings, and secure pets in the apartment before chemicals are being used.
Providing last-minute notice demonstrates a serious lack of consideration for residents’ schedules, belongings, and ability to safely prepare their homes. Management should establish a clear and consistent notification process that gives residents adequate advance notice of any planned entry. The current approach is unacceptable for a community that expects residents to treat their apartments and the property with care.
