Having completed my lease after a year, I'm relieved to be moving on. My experience with the management team was quite negative; interactions often felt unpleasant and dismissive. Additionally, residents in any of the thirteen apartments adjacent to the dumpster experienced significant odor issues, particularly affecting master bedroom closets with what appeared to be mold, rendering them unusable. Do not rent here biggest mistake I ever made. I moved to Pennsylvania from Los Angeles to be closer to my family and I had a time crunch. I thought the prices were reasonable and the property looked nice. I thought I was going to have a good experience. I have had the worst experience in my 20 years of renting, I’ve been here a year and a half and they’re about to raise my rent for a second time. I’ve had maintenance Enter my unit without giving me a call. Emailing me or anything, three times... when I told them I didn’t want maintenance coming into my unit without calling me first My electric bill this past month was 260 when it’s usually less than 100. Even though I used the same amount of electricity. all the utilities go through management and they will charge you for anything if anything goes wrong in your unit, even though it’s normal wear, and tear (not normal, nothing should fall apart this easily when you’re paying premium rent) it should be covered by all of the fees you’re already paying. they will charge you for anything and everything they can. Lindy has passed as much of the cost of as possible onto tenants, your water heater leaked and the need to replace the floor? now your rent is getting increased. but most recently a large portion of the residents received an electric bill that is double or triple what they usually are, I've heard people getting charged as much as $750 for the electricity for a 2 bedroom apartment. I have a 2 bedroom apartment and mine was $670 when its usually $180. we all reported this to lindy and all they did... was tell us nothing is wrong and the readings are correct. The Park at Westminster used to be a great apartment complex but recently it has gone downhill. They have a parking problem in front of the D Building, the staff at the leasing office do not care about anyone but themselves. The rent increases are out of control, they are charging people whatever they feel like just so their pockets are full. They charge for water and sewer but they base it off of the square footage of your apartment and not your actual usage. Very disappointed with the property. We loved it when we moved in two plus years ago and hated it when we left. When we moved in we thought the location and apartment were great until 6 months ago when they started allowing college students who party everyday till 3 am to rent there. We complained to the office many times and even called the police on the neighbors upstairs and nothing happened. I also found out before these neighbors moved in above us the company put in hardwood floors so we... could hear EVERYTHING! I know it is apartment living but it is bad when you can hear your neighbors upstairs using the bathroom! ?? Do not believe the whole concrete ceilings and you can’t hear anything. Bull!
