This property is nice , clean and in a very convenient location. I am hopeful that the gates work. The price ranges is in my budget.

This is my review for move-in. I’ll share more reviews as time passes during our stay here. I first heard about these apartments when I visited a friend who lived in a studio back around 2022-2023 and I thought it was a sufficient arrangement. So much so that I decided to come here in 2026 but into a 1 bedroom. The leasing office staff was very friendly and answered all of our questions when we contacted them about moving in. They gave us a tour of our room, the garage, laundry areas, fitness... room and indoor lap pool and I didn’t notice anything in particular that was bad or out of the ordinary. We have been parking outside until we opt for the garage spaces and I haven’t had trouble finding a space within a reasonable distance. The room we got is on the first floor and it appeared to be a nice layout for us. I wasn’t expecting to have hard floors which is a plus and all the appliances provided seem to function fine and were clean. No roaches or pests have been noticed and we hope to keep it that way. Community wise I’ve ran into friendly neighbors who seem to give simple greetings and we hope to contribute to that. Ive read the bad reviews and security may seem to be an issue but as an army vet who lived in barracks and having grown up in apartments as a kid, I hope to do my part by cleaning after myself and in making others feels safe by notifying the leasing office or police of anything that looks criminally suspicious. Overall I was pleased with move-in and look forward to my stay here at the Halston and being back in the 75228. Oh and I did notice the exit gates seem to stay open so maybe thats what could be leading to issues of theft but this location is on the better side of John West in my opinion. Read More

I just moved into Halston, and Ms. Tania was amazing! She helped me every step of the way during my move in and made the process smooth and easy. This is a wonderful community, and everyone in the office was so kind and welcoming. I’m really looking forward to my stay here.

Thank You Vallerie for you’re assistance these past two days . you made the process fast and efficient. You gave me a tour around the apartmey . Asnwer all my question as well as braking down everything I needed to know about my apartment. Will be recommending to family and friends. I was approved and able to get in my apartment in less then 48 hrs . Management is also very friendly. Thank you.

I feel not safe in this community, my car was stolen twice in 2 months from the outdoor parking and the property didnt take action to increase the safety. The second time, in the mid day my car was parked right behind the leasing office and it was stolen during work time and the manager said we are not responsible for your safety!!!! I never recommend this community that there is no safety, just check other reviews you can see it happened multiple times.
