Warning: Serious Security Issues
A couple of weekends ago, our car was broken into inside the building’s resident parking garage (5th floor, near the elevator). This was not street parking, this was within a controlled-access area that residents are expected to rely on.
What’s more concerning is how management handled it.
We were told: The cameras are motion-triggered only and did not capture anything
Basically, the system can effectively be bypassed if someone enters on foot
On top of that, the garage gate has been... intermittently broken, which creates a clear and ongoing security gap allowing unauthorized access.
Instead of acknowledging these issues, management pointed us to the lease agreement and stated they are not responsible. That response completely misses the point. Horrible customer service.
No one expects zero crime, but residents should expect basic, functional security measures in a private parking structure. Right now, that is clearly not the case. And a management that addresses sensitive situations with care.
As a result, we do not feel safe parking here and would strongly caution others to think carefully before relying on this garage or living here.
