Have resided @ "BP" 8yrs. Property well maintained. When needed, maintenance team responsive. Quiet community. Except when fire alarm goes off.
Ear splitting, literally. I keep a pair of noise suppression headphones on hand.

I have lived at Braeswood Place Apartments for over two years now. The community is well managed and well maintained. You would be amazed how quiet the entire complex is, even during nights and weekends! The other renters I have met over the years have all been very nice, cordial and helpful. And, some have been here for a very long time - more than 10 years for many! So, that in itself validates its a great place to be. Why would you stay so long otherwise. After more than two years, may... eventually become a "lifer" as well! The amenities are great as well. We have moved in for about a month now, and we are loving the peaceful community. It is family friendly, and there are places nearby for kids such as parks and the library. Maintenance came in promptly after we had some trouble with our AC and insinerator. Our unit is close to a water feature, and our family loves hearing the water flowing, and seeing the lights at night, while we eat and work.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Braeswood Place. I had the opportunity to move elsewhere, but I chose to stay because I believed this community would be a safe place to live. Instead, my vehicle was one of five vehicles vandalized in the parking garage, leaving me without reliable transportation and dealing with insurance claims, repairs, and unexpected stress.

This should never have happened, especially if vehicle vandalism has been an ongoing issue at this property. If... similar incidents have occurred in the past, stronger security measures should have already been in place to help protect residents and their property.

What makes this even more frustrating is learning from other residents that this is not an isolated incident. Many have shared stories of stolen wheels, broken windows, and other vehicle vandalism. Some residents also said that this was not the first time their vehicle had been vandalized, which makes the lack of stronger security even more concerning. Despite these recurring issues, I have not seen meaningful security improvements or proactive communication from management. The response seems to be limited to telling residents to file a police report after the damage has already been done.

As residents, we pay rent with the expectation that Management will take reasonable steps to address ongoing safety concerns. While no property can guarantee that crime will never happen, repeated incidents involving multiple vehicles should prompt visible action to help protect the people who live here.

I truly regret my decision to stay and transfer to another apartment within this community. If I had known the extent of these ongoing security problems, I would have made a different choice. Braeswood Place is a hidden gem in the area. The tranquil environment explains why there are so many longtime residents. Lovely grounds, outstanding amenities, safe, and variety of floor plans are a few of the reasons I chose Braeswood Place as my home.
