My husband was supposed to move in on July 19, 2024, but when he arrived to pick up the keys, the staff told him the apartment wasn’t ready until the next day. They promised we’d be reimbursed for the extra moving costs, but even after turning in receipts and following up several times, we never received a dime.

When I applied to be added to the lease that September, the office completely lost my application, then told me to redo it—only to later “find” the original. The amount of... disorganization was unbelievable.

When we moved out in July 2025, we submitted our deposit refund paperwork early and returned all the keys in person. Weeks went by with no response. When we finally got a call back, they said our $500 deposit refund would only be $46 because they claimed the keys weren’t returned (they were) and that we owed a paint fee. We lived there for over a year, so even that charge made no sense.

After months of waiting and countless follow-ups, we finally got the refund check in November—nearly four months after moving out.

Who ever is working on 6/25/2025 between 3-3:30pm is picking up the phone and hanging up. I've called several times to simply inquire about leasing information. If this is how phone calls are handled, I wouldn't trust a senior at your residences. Pass

My experience thus far at The Meritage has been phenomenal. My leasing consultant, Ajee’ is truly an angel, he exhibits OUTSTANDING customer service at all times! During my move-in process, he always went ABOVE AND BEYOND my expectations each and every time. I moved in on a Friday, over a big holiday weekend, so the office was only open half a day that day, he still made it a point to call and follow-up to ensure I had everything I needed to make the move-in process go smoothly. Even when... calling the complex, speaking with Mallory and other staff members, I was always impressed by the professionalism and quality of the service provided in addition to their ability to knowledgeably answer all of my questions. If you’re searching for a GREAT apartment complex in the Houston area The Meritage is the BEST! The floor plans are amazing, and spacious, the apartments are luxurious and modern, with up-to-date, quality appliances! The 24-hour gym, wine room, and pool are certainly an added plus for the living experience! This community truly provides a high quality living environment at a competitive price. The staff is amazing and the property is gorgeous. I love the clean modern look, and the peaceful; yet inviting vibe of the entire community. My first experience in moving into my first apartment was great I chose the Meritage and I’m excited! Ajee was very helpful to us and patient, very respectful and good with answering any questions in a good timely manner!
