I would strongly encourage anyone considering Timberwalk Apartments to do your research and inspect the property carefully before signing a lease.
During my experience here, I have dealt with serious rat and roach infestation issues. This is not something I would consider a minor pest problem. There have been ongoing concerns with rodents and roaches inside the property.
There are also significant concerns about the condition of the building... itself. Areas of the property appear to have severe water damage and deterioration, including concerns that the inside of the walls are rotting. The property feels like it is decaying from the inside out.
Another major concern is mold. From my experience, instead of properly addressing the underlying moisture and damage, it appears that mold and damaged areas are simply being painted over. Painting over a problem does not fix the source of the problem.
If you’re thinking about renting here, I strongly recommend that you inspect everything carefully, document any issues with photos and videos, ask questions about previous water damage and pest treatments, and get any promises from management in writing.
I am sharing this review because prospective tenants deserve to know what they may be getting into before signing a lease. Please don’t judge the property based solely on how it looks during a tour the problems may not be obvious until you actually live there.
