I have lived here 8 years as a widow however, I lived her at a different time with my husband for a couple of years. We lived for a short time in 55 and above housing. I find I prefer living where there are a variety of people and ages. And another great benefit is I'm located a short distance from my daughter. I very much like living here. I feel safe. The area is well lighted and there is no loud noise anytime and none after hours. The maintenance is excellent. After always living in our... own home, it is wonderful to have someone come quickly to repair what isn't working. The maintenance crew is professional, compassionate and ready to take care of any problem. A couple of years ago the entire exterior of the complex was repainted in aesthetically appealing colors. The management is quick to notify in case of any outing or emergency and give a time when it should be resolved. The swimming pool area is well maintained. Periodically the management arranges an outing for the ones who live here. Some are geared to younger families with children. I particularly enjoyed a Friendsgiving Gathering with nicely set tables and delicious food and the opportunity to visit with others. If these are things you enjoy then I think you would enjoy living here.
