Vara Apartments of Greystar LLC has been nothing but great. The building is clean and we'll maintained and Vara Team has been very wonderful. The amenities are also very impressive and give the building even more of a community environment.

Disgusted and Done with Vara SF
This place is a total joke.
I moved into Vara expecting a secure, professionally managed building. What I got was a front-row seat to a street market of stolen junk every single weekend. No exaggeration — right outside the main entrance, people set up tarps and shopping carts full of random electronics, boxed appliances, and shoes with tags still on them. It’s chaotic, loud, filthy, and completely unmanaged.
What’s worse? Management does nothing. Zero security, zero communication, zero... accountability. It’s like they’ve just given up on keeping this place livable.
We’re paying premium rent to step over trash and sketchy sidewalk sales just to leave our own home. It’s embarrassing, unsafe, and flat-out unacceptable.
Don’t fall for the staged tours and fancy lobby. Come by on a Saturday afternoon and see what Vara really feels like.
I’m counting down the days until my lease is up.
