The Colonnade Apartments

The building is infested with cockroaches. I wouldn't rent if you want to save yourself lots of headaches.

Management left holes in my ceiling and walls for two weeks in my bathroom after "fixing" a leak. Because my walls and ceiling were exposed, when the leak came back, it dripped right into my bathtub. What's worse is that cockroaches came into my apartment because of the exposed areas in the bathroom. The holes in my apartment were conveniently fixed the night before a City of San Jose... inspector came to inspect my apartment because management refused to address my issues.

The Inspector only confirmed that the building had a cockroach infestation and forced management to send an exterminator.

Management refuses to address issues in person, let alone answer a phone call, and tell you that they only communicate through email. After you send an email, they don't get back to you and tell you to keep trying through email.

I recently left this place and couldn't be happier about leaving, there's always something missing, broken or literally on fire and you end up calling management all the time and waiting, with little to no results

When I first came for the tour I didn't pay enough attention to details, management took me through the "nice" parts of the building and avoided everything else. The reality is that elevator breaks frequently, gym has been broken for months on end, fire alarm goes on over and over for no good reason and when there's no power outage there's a water shutdown. Just started living here and I already wanna move out, I thought this was somewhat nice (there's a hot tub, a pool, a gym), but like others say, the tour is all about the pretty side of it, once you move in you realize the gym never works, the pool stinks and/or is being repaired, same for the hot tub, the water, power, elevator... you get the idea, everything is broken and simply put, the place does not meet the price tag
