Very much a bait and switch complex. They lure you in with amenities, community events, security, and cleanliness. These are just a facade. The printer in the business center never worked. I had to have the front office print documents every time. The community grills and fire pit were in constant disrepair. I gave up entering maintenance requests because the tickets would be closed and nothing would be fixed. For months, the key fob system was broken. The intercom system was broken for even... longer. The "security" hired during the fob system malfunction was laughable. Also, good luck if your vehicle is hit because the cameras don't work. The rent payment system was almost always down when rent was due. Many of the community events are either donation drives or they are put on by companies aiming to sell you something (ex: Verizon). At the heart of many of the issues is the front office staff and the lack of professionalism and communication. The central pool area was shut down without any notice. "Events" would only be posted in the elevators with no email or text notification. Fire alarm testing that was supposed to occur in the morning would end up happening in the afternoon (good luck getting your pet out of the apartment while alarms are blaring). After giving your 60-day notice to vacate and paying the fee, they will try to make you pay past the 60 days until a new tenant is found. They don't enforce the no smoking policy. I have signed 2 leases with The Covington and so glad to be here. The staff is amazing and so helpful with anything I need help with. Great amenities for both warm and cold months and events that make living here even better.

I moved here in August and from the first time I set foot into the office I could feel a big sense of community here. The rental fees are fair compared to what is currently available to people in the twin cities area. The location is excellent and there are a few lakes and nature reserve places near by. My one bedroom apartment’s layout is awesome. I have no complaints regarding noises. The outdoor pool is one my favorite spots here at the Covington. The gym is excellent.
