Blue and Lime

There was a recent change of management and the new company doesn't seem to know what they are doing or care about the residents. The service offered has seen a HUGE downgrade. I would've recommended this building so highly before, but it's not worth the outrageous rent for the lackluster service.

Blue is a wonderful place to live in Uptown! The location is perfect, right next to Lake and Lyndale with plenty of shops and restaurants to explore and right on the greenway for biking and walking. The management was always friendly and very accommodating going the extra mile to make sure requests were met and any issue was handled in a timely and professional manner. The apartments themselves are very spacious with beautiful big windows that allow for natural light to pour in every morning.... All of the amenities were always clean and accessible, my favorite was the pool in the summer! A building with great amenities and within walking distance to a grocery stores, convenience/gas stations, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, clothes/home goods and fitness centers.

The amenities in the building are well worth it too. I was sold on the dog park for my puppy and the chance to meet other dog owners and make puppy playmates! Also, a pool, a gym (cardio, weights, studio and sauna), daily coffee, courtyards/fireplaces and weekly community events to attend. Another nice perk is the... free coffee every morning and breakfast on Wednesdays.

A few things to watch out for is the commute to/from work. Spending summer days by the lakes makes getting to uptown with construction a hassle somedays. Recently moved into Blue a few months ago and it was my first "newer / luxury" apartment experience. Honestly, I'm pretty blown away by how nice everyone is and the apartment. My 2 story loft is amazing and the location cannot be beat in Uptown. The only reason I took off one star is because some of the amenities are showing it's age like standard coffee makers in the lounge instead of an expresso machine and there isn't WiFi in all the common areas like the pool or courtyards, only in the... lounge. If you are looking for a hassle free place to live in Uptown Blue is perfect. Gym and common areas are always clean. In unit washer and dryer. The rooms are a little small but you don't live in the area to sit inside all day. Right down the street from uptown bars and perfect places for Sunday brunch!
