Bayville Apartments

These apartments are not bad, but they are not excellent either. The buildings are older so there are certain expectations that come with them.

Here's a pro & con list to simplify everything:

Pros:
- Renovated units are modern and updated pretty well
- Plenty of storage space
- Even the 1 bedrooms are spacious
- Good amount of parking, no assigned spots
- Good location, can get to Chicks Beach, Airport, Town Center and Shore Drive in 10 mins
- Even next to the highway, still a fairly quiet... area

Cons:
- Loud squeaking/cracking from ceiling if you are in a bottom floor unit
- Washer & dryer are not great, you have to rent them and washer hooks up to the sink
- Lighting is updated throughout the unit but was not added to bedroom(s)
- Water roaches especially on bottom floor, although they are doing better to treat them
- Was told maintenance has a high turnover because so much upkeep is needed here
- Have to bring your own microwave
- Doors may break/not shut all the way
- Bathrooms are pretty small
- Only internet hookup is Cox
- Very hard to get cold water in warm months, water lines were not dug deep enough back when these were built
- Numerous maintenance requests had to be put in when I moved in, things that were broken or not working properly

Even with all the issues, it seems the new property management is always trying to improve these apartments. Since they are old, there are certain things you will just have to deal with if you choose to live here. I would very highly recommend getting a top floor renovated unit if you are considering moving in. Read More

I looked for apartments in a rush on 31Aug2023 and moved in the night of 1Sept2023. Big shoutout to the leasing office. Freshly renovated, brand new appliances with no scratches or finger prints. Brand new floors and carpet. I did find a couple discrepancies that were quickly handled on the next business day by maintenance workers named Andre and John.

Staff is the worst. Apartment themselves were gross.

THIS IS THE PERFECT APARTMENT FOR BOTH OLDER OR YOUNGER INDIVIDUALS, THE INSIDE IS SPACIOUS AND THE LAYOUT IS GREAT EACH APARTMENT COMES WITH EITHER OWN BALCONY OR PATIO.
THERE IS PLENTY OF GREEN SPACE FOR WALKING YOUR DOGS OR HAVING A PICNIC WITH YOUR FAMILY, PLAYGROUNDS ON SITE FOR THE YOUNGER KIDS (THE PLAYGROUNDS ARE CLEAN AND NICELY DONE TO BE SAFE FOR THE CHILDREN TO PLAY ON, AND THE SWIMMING POOLS ARE CLEAN AND INVITING FOR ALL AGES.
THE APARTMENT MANAGEMENT STAFF IS EXCELLANT AND... HELPFUL WHEN YOU NEED SOMETHING.

If your military stationed either at JEB OR NOB then the location is ideal for you. The 2 bedroom is ideal for a small family or roommate as its very spacious. Washer and dryer hookups, dish washer, 1.5 bathroom, and cable ready. ONLY COX IN THESE AREA. Dog park on site as well as community pool*small fee for pool use. 10 mins from chick's beach. 20 minutes from town center and both janaf and town center shopping centers.
